“My favorite thing about my senior session was how personal that Aubry was, and how she made me feel good about myself. I would recommend her to anyone, because the pictures you get are so true to who you are, and aren’t basic like everyone else’s. I would have recommended her to even more people, but she was already booked up!” -Kyla, senior client
It was a sunny, beautiful day when I met up with Kyla for her senior session. Our experience was so much fun, and Kyla was comfortable, engaged, and altogether amazing! I felt so honored that this stunning young lady had already recommended me to so many of her friends, and was ready to make her senior shoot one to remember. As I caught up with Kyla and heard more about her future plans, we captured these images that hope she treasures forever.
Kyla is an active member of her community and involved in various extracurricular activities. At school, she is a part of the dance team and is a member of the Encoix Sweethearts. Outside of school, she volunteers at her church, participates in Young Life, and works at Urban Eat N Drink. Her favorite memory from high school so far has been attending football games and dancing during pep rally and half-time performances. Although she loves all these things, she is most passionate about Jesus and dance, and loves going to the ranch, riding horses, and spending time outdoors. When I asked her what the top three things in her life are, she said confidently, “God, friends, and family!” Among her biggest role models are her youth pastor, who has taught her valuable life lessons and helped her strengthen her faith.
Planning this shoot was tons of fun. Kyla is a fun-loving and adventurous girl when it comes to fashion, and she loves everything from boho to edgy and urban looks. For her senior session, she hoped to have plenty of variety in her backdrops, and maybe a little touch of “country” (hello, gorgeous fields and a beautiful horse!) After high school, Kyla plans to attend either Texas A&M or Texas State. I loved our time together!
