Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it. – Mark Amend
This Cedar Park grad is such a wonderful guy, and our time together was one of those times when the session time was way too short. Dom is kind, smart, and deeply invested in his friends and family. He loves listening to music, playing football, and hanging out at the lake with the people he loves most in life. Fall is his favorite season because obviously, football. He describes himself as athletic, country, and casual, and he wanted a session that showed off those things. I found the perfect spots to showcase his passions, and the lighting really cooperated with us….featuring gorgeous light flares, clouds, and the bluest sky you’ve ever seen. The football field was an obvious choice for this star player, and the field holds so many memories from the last four years. I loved the significance and the spot itself.
He also chose a more formal outfit (suit) and showed off his awesome truck. When I work with guy senior clients, they love bringing in their cars or sports/hobbies and I enjoy finding creative ways to incorporate them. Even if it’s a lesser-known or unique hobby or even just something you love (like Harry Potter or Star Wars), we can bring a small piece into your shoot. I have heard seniors say, “well my hobby or passion isn’t something we can bring in”, but you’d be surprised in the different ways that we can get creative. We can bring in books, posters, class rings, athletic equipment, or musical instruments…I have tons of big ideas, and there’s nothing I love more than helping bring a vision to life.
