Briley is so much fun to be with. She’s a girl with diverse, amazing interests and I enjoyed every minute of our session together. As a graduate of Woodland High School, she was part of the D& D club, and she is very passionate about art, video games, anime, and animals. In her spare time, you can usually find her playing video games with her friends, and going to concerts. When her family has time, she also loves to do water sports on our nearby lakes (she loves Green Lake, Wisconsin as well)! “My favorite memory from high school was going out with my friends”, she shared, “and during this time in my life, I’ve learned it’s important to be true to myself. I feel I can be very stubborn when I put my mind to something and want to get it done. I stand up for what I believe in.” Her pets, friends, and family are deeply important to her, and one of the people she cites as her role model is voice actress Lily Pichu, because “she worked so very hard to become a voice actress, and get a big break for a game. It was amazing to watch her work hard for something and achieve it”. Briley carries this inspiring work ethic into all she does, and plans to attend the University of Illnois Chicago (UIC), where she can’t wait to live in the city.
I loved the combination of her modern, edgy style and sweet spirit. I scouted lots of locations before her shoot, and settled on this part of town with architectural details and a big city feel. It captures her style perfectly, and I am so pleased with how the shoot worked with her amazing wardrobe! When I work with any senior, I always consider how and when they will use and love their portraits after their shoot. I want them to love and display their images, and feel like it looks like THEM and not an idealized version of them or what others want them to look like. Briley, thanks for such a wonderful afternoon!
