Okay, all you high schoolers…look away! This one’s for the parents and loved ones who are buying for those in their high school years…it can be really tough to shop for the teens in your life and know that you’re purchasing useful, cool gifts. As a mom of teens and college students myself, I know allllll about that struggle! Below, you’ll find our best ideas for gifts that are sure to wow them and make you the coolest mom/dad/aunt/uncle/grandparent around:

-Oculus Quest: This is a super hot gift this year, and they’re getting harder to find as the months move towards the holidays. At about $300, it’s not the cheapest on our list by any means, but it’s an awesome choice for those who you want to really splurge on. It’s a virtual reality headset that comes with some free games and options for purchasing other games. The only caveat is you have to have a Facebook account to register the item, since it’s produced by Facebook. You can do things like ride a roller coaster, play action video games, and even exercise, and it feels like you’re transported to another place. Find it HERE.
-Fast charger for all things Apple: Everyone can use an extra charger or two, so these make great small gifts for under $20 for any teen in your life. This one is speedy and the cable comes apart out of the cube so it’s good for travel or packing in a school bag. Pick up one or two so you can gift them to just about anyone!

-An awesome alarm clock and bluetooth speaker: This is useful for the high schoolers who love music and who also love sleep! This alarm clock can gently wake them up with their favorite music, and serves as a light and a speaker anytime. This is ideal for the senior who is heading off to college, because it’s perfect for their dorm room with it’s small footprint and multi-use function (literally everything needs a multi-purpose in such a small space!). Find the alarm clock HERE.
-For the non-tech lovers: This Nike Duffle bag is amazing, and I don’t know a single teen or high school who can’t use a good weekender or travel luggage. It’s the perfect size and under $75, so it’s a nice splurge for a teen who loves to play sports or travels frequently. It also folds up into a smaller size and can be stored under a bed. Hope that helps as you look for the perfect gifts this year!
