I think most of us can agree that something we all gained during the pandemic has been to not take things for granted. Sophia actually said that is one of the most important things she has learned in the last year; to not take experiences or people for granted, and to learn to appreciate every moment! I cannot express how much fun we had together for this session; Sophia is such a sweetheart, and her beauty is much more than just skin deep; she’s a thinker and a doer, and she’s always trying something new! “School is my big priority right now, and volleyball is a big part of my life”, she shared with me, “It is my senior season of volleyball, on the varsity team, and I’m still finding ways to make the important memories during COVID…there are still ways to stay safe and make memories!” She’s graduating from the Founders Classical Academy of Leander, and has her sights set on college when she completes her senior year.
One of Sophia’s biggest passions is wildlife conservation. She loves nature, and is wants to see both wildlife and nature better protected so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. Nature was something she wanted included in her senior session, and so we found these beautiful outdoor locations to bring her vision to life. With her casual, sometimes bohemian style, she brought a ton of great inspiration to the shoot. I loved the way her hair and makeup worked with all of her outfits, and styling her/posing her was a true joy. I know she has some amazing things in front of her, and I’m so proud of her for managing her senior year so gracefully thus far.
Thank you, sweet girl, for allowing me to be your senior photographer!
