Did you know you can do your senior photos twice? Yes, I’m serious. It’s becoming a newer trend to do college senior photos, both because it’s an enormous accomplishment and also because they are so useful! Unlike the more fashion-forward or editorial styling of high school senior photos, a college senior photo can be more professional in nature, and be a stepping stone into the working world you will be heading into. You can utilize your cap and gown, your school tassel or sash, and you can even utilize your campus (with permission). Your college graduation photo can be used on your social media profiles, for job recruiters, and even for job applications where a portrait is helpful. Below, you’ll see an example of this with the image of Caitlyn in that awesome navy blazer…she looks ready to take on the world, doesn’t she?
I was blessed to take Caitlyn’s high school senior photos when she graduated, and absolutely loved getting to celebrate her college senior year with this new shoot. She attended Texas A&M, where she graduated this month with a degree in mechanical engineering (go, girl!). Not only does she hold a special place in my heart, we also have something fun in common: Texas A&M was where I went to school, as well. College Station, Texas, is where I grew up, and where my beloved parents still call home. Caitlyn is extremely smart, put-together, and beautiful. She is so well spoken, and kind, and she was the deserving recipient of the Walker Impact Award this year.
Congratulations, beautiful girl! I know you will do so much good in this world, and I am so proud of you!
