How cute is Ava? From the moment you meet her, Ava’s spirit just welcomes you in. She is warm and caring, and has a sweet southern drawl, and a personality that makes you feel like old friends. She has an absolute heart of gold, and she loves classic things (like the Audrey Hepburn era), and she asked me to come up with something truly unique for her session. I couldn’t wait to deliver on my promise, and we worked together to plan this editorial style, unique, and gorgeous session. It’s one of my favorite recent sessions, and I am so thrilled to share it with you today! Ava is now homeschooled, but in the past, she played girls basketball, and one of her memories was nearly beating the record for most-won games! She loves the sport, as well as her extra work at the local trampoline park. Her faith is one of the most important things in her life, and she is committed to her local body of believers. In fact, church is one of the top three things in her life, followed by her family and her schoolwork. When Ava has any free time, she also enjoys baby-sitting here and there, and adds, “I feel my greatest strength is helping people when they are down, and just always being kind and being a friend to anyone who needs one”. Besides being a good friend, she’s also a loving and protective sister, and says her “little sisters are my whole world!”
This gorgeous girl describes her fashion sense as “high fashion and vintage” and that’s the vibe we went for when we found this awesome diner and the other props/locations for her session. Mainly, she wanted to make sure that her session is different than any of her friends’ shoots, and said “I don’t want them to be plain!”. Well, I think we definitely achieved her goal, and these images can be described as anything but plain! Ava plans to stay local as she begins college, and I am so glad she will get to remain close to her amazing family. I am so excited to see how her future unfolds.
