When the world is stretched out in front of you, it can feel like a mixture of excitement and nerves. The time before graduation can be a total blur of memories, experiences, and fun…it’s so important to make the most of it, because it goes by in a blink. Chloe is smack-dab in the middle of some of the biggest changes in her life, and she’s handling them with grace and maturity far beyond her years always thinking of others before herself. Chloe has had a great time in her high school years, and shared that her favorite memory would be helping in the special needs classroom a few times each week. “I got to help the students learn, and getting to hang out with them created good friendships”, she shared, “I truly had an amazing time doing what I love, which is helping people who have unique special needs”. In addition to her volunteer work, she also enjoyed being part of the drill team at her school, and spending time with family and friends. Chloe is passionate about the special needs community, and wants to see true change in the way the world includes those who are often overlooked. “I really feel passionate about preparing students with special needs for life after high school, and to help them become as independent as possible”, she added, “I feel this is so important, as it will give everyone a role in society, and helps those without special needs to become more comfortable with this community of amazing people”. She has had an amazing role model in her mom, who she says “is the most hard-working person I know, and she is my best friend. She shows me the difference between right and wrong, and helps me through all of life’s little struggles”.
For her senior session, I wanted to highlight what a giving and beautiful person this girl is, both inside and out. She has a beautiful personality that’s larger than life, and what better way to showcase that than with a few gorgeous outfits and an urban location? I chose this stunning downtown location because of the architectural details, and then we moved to another outdoor spot that had more natural accents for her other outfits. Chloe was a natural when it came to posing and styling, and I absolutely loved working with her, and learning more about her. I am proud of the young woman that she is becoming (and already is), and mostly for the others-centered heart she has. Congratulations, Chloe!
